BLEAP’s Patience Pays

The BLEAP (Blokes And Ladies Expecting Astronomical Profits) Syndicate enjoyed a special moment with Kurabeel (Zabeel – Clermont Lass) on Thursday 23/11/06 at Matamata when the 4YO mare took out the Workmans Café and Bar 1600m. A broken bone during last seasons campaign was a setback but rest time followed by the slow preparation and build up under the guidance of trainer Lance O’Sullivan has shown that she’s keen to strut her stuff! In more recent weeks we have seen Splashing Out (O’Reilly – Iquazu) enhance Kurabeel’s family with winning Group performances over the Melbourne Carnival…lets hope Kurabeel can do the same!
Earaheedy (Danasinga – Forest Dream) won the ninth at Hastings yesterday 25/11/06 in the Furnware Hcp 2000m. One of only a few races that Hawkes Bay’s Leading trainer Guy Lowry didn’t win!!! A half sister to Earaheedy, Gloworm (Centaine – Forest Dream) is raced by the LADDS (Little Avondales Dedicated Drinkin’ Supporters) syndicate and she’ll be back in work shortly whilst a half sister by Towkay will be in the LA draft for the Karkara Yearling Sales. Forest Dream is currently in foal to No Excuse Needed. Two Towkays to note after the weekend results
  • Wai (Towkay – Iamwhatiam) 2nd in the Liquor King Hcp 1200m and
  • Master Nagol (Towkay – Miss Nagol) 2nd in the first at Hastings Rush Marquee/party hire 1300m
NZB launched this years catalogue on Friday at Pencarrow Stud. It was attended by Studmasters and journalists from around New Zealand and everyone was buzzing over the quality of the yearlings that will be on offer. Please contact www.nzb.co.nz for your catalogue.
