Karaka Success Story Continues for Per Incanto

LA finished the 3rd and final day of Karaka Book 1 in strong fashion.

You can have confidence in the quality of your product when the day after paying $260k for a Per Incanto filly, Cambridge Stud returns to buy another filly by the son of Street Cry off you, this time paying $240k for the filly from Omana(pictured), offered on behalf of the Southern Hawke's Bays Mick Ormond.

Interest in Time Test’s progeny from Australia continued with Simon Wilde purchasing the farms filly from Night Nurse for $100k. The filly was offered on behalf of Tauranga’s Greg Clarke.

When it comes to Karaka, the King a.k.a. Per Incanto is certainly in his counting house. In addition to the sale of the Omana filly, he had two other sales over $200k on the final day of book 1 and the LA colt from Scintillating, who was offered in partnership with Wanganui’s Harvey Green, sold to the Hong Kong Jockey Club for $170k.

Per Incanto averaged over $136,000 for 20 yearlings sold across Book 1. Seven of those yearlings will head over the Tasman.

Family, our families have done so much together in the industry and sociably, there's not too many industries today that allow you to do that.
