Unbeaten Time Test 3YO Eyes Black Type

Monday, 21 August 2023 18:46

Progressive 3YO Pushy (Time Test-Angel Child by Annaba) remained unbeaten with another impressive win in NSW on Saturday, supporting his claims to step to black-type company next start, while over in Adelaide, also on Saturday, the 4YO gelding Braveman’s Game (Time Test- Sampi by Per Incanto) franked his second on debut on the same track a week ago to backup and win nicely.

After winning on debut at Kembla Grange the Stephanie Hole bred Pushy was arguably even more impressive on Saturday, overcoming a check on the home turn to still get up and win the 1400m event at Newcastle against older horses. Connections are eyeing up the 1400m Group 3 Ming Dynasty Quality at Randwick against his own age in three weeks.

Pushy and Braveman’s Game were the only Time Test starters in Australia on Saturday. In NZ, his only two runners on the same day, Delorean and Tide and Time finished second and third respectively at Ruakaka.

Time Test, NZ’s leading second season sire for three-year winners last season and second on the general classification behind Savabeel, has started the season in spectacular fashion. Understandably bookings have really picked-up for the son of Dubawi, who stands the new season at LA for a service fee of $10,000 plus GST.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to all the team at Little Avondale for doing another amazing job looking after my mare and bringing her precious foal safely into the world. Always such a relief knowing they will have the best of care with you!
