Big Finish To Premier Sale

Wednesday, 01 February 2017 21:05

The momentum generated on day one continued for LA with the farm consolidating its position as the sixth leading vendor on aggregate overall, thanks to strong results from the last three lots presented on day two of the Premier Sale.

Christopher Grace’s Savabeel filly from his dual stakes producer Trocair defied the odds of being the third to last lot in the catalogue, selling to BBA Ireland and Lindsay Park Racing for $340,000.

Per Incanto’s half brother to Wellington Cup runner-up Jacksstar (pictured right) was bought by Auckland trainer Danny Walker for $250,000 while a few lots earlier, leading New South Wales bloodstock agent Kieran Moore secured the Savabeel-Shandream filly for $240,000.

Highlights of the LA Select Sale draft include the 12 yearlings by leading sire Per Incanto. The Sale commences at 11am on Wednesday.
