Strong buyer interest in a couple of his fillies on the final day completed a very successful Select Sale for Per Incanto.

Richardson Racing, trainers of unbeaten filly Vope Veloce, secured LA’s Per Incanto-Real Angel filly for $100,000 while a few lots later, Victoria’s Newlands Thoroughbreds were successful with a final bid of $90,000 for the LA consigned Per Incanto half sister to Saint Emilion.

Third on the sire averages for stallions with three or more sales, Per Incanto’s 17 yearlings sold for $80,118, with his median a healthy $55,000.

LA ended the Select Sale as third leading vendor by aggregate and average.

Karaka winds up for another year with Sunday’s Festival Sale, which gets underway at 11am. LA’s draft of three yearlings includes a Nadeem-Lady Beretta filly who has been extremely popular in pre sale inspections.
